How to Publish or Unpublish a web page.

If you haven't yet given your site a name and a description, please do so before trying to create any pages.

Any link on the My Web Pages menu (left) will take you to the control panel for your site (pictured below).

This is a useful feature when, for example, you are in the throws of working on a page and you don't want it to be visible to any other members until you're finished.  You can just set it to be Unpublished while you're working on it and then Publish it when you're ready.

Step one: click on the Manage Pages icon. Here (below) is what you will see.

Manage Pages

Step two: Click the green tick (to unpublish) or the red cross (to publish) in the Publish column to Publish or Unpublish any page you wish.

Alternatively...

if you're already working on a page and you wish to set it to be unpublished before you save it, all you have to do is:

Step one: Scroll down to the bottom of the page. You'll see a box entitled Visibility (image below).

Publishing a page

Step two: - To unpublish the page, just select the No radio button beside the word Publish.

Step three: don't forget this bit! Scroll back up to the top and click on SAVE (top right).

Note: you can unpublish your whole site (i.e. all of your pages at once) by clicking on the Site Settings icon and doing the same thing.
