as i put on my shoes on the other day...i thought
i wonder if i can tie a bow ......with one hand ?
after 10 minutes..i managed it with my left hand.
then i used my right hand... to tie a bow in my
left shoe lace....i thought... it would be almost
impossible.... just a bit of................. fun
all this came about when i was in Plymouth years
ago...when a young lad had his arm in.... a sling
he recieved a letter that required his signature.
because he could not sign it.....that started me  thinking,so i started writing with my other hand.

hello Mac...adding to your being ambidextrous..i thought
what about competions..where people use their other hand
or foot..like in football...the left back goes to being
the right back...and so on....would be so funny ?
i thought of trying to mount a bike...(leave the room
Pheonix).....from the left side.....instead of the right
i reckon i would fall off.
about your teachers forcing you... to write with your
right hand.no teacher at my schools...forced me to write
with my right hand...and i am older than you...i quess !

Smiler, I did leave the Room??  but snicked back in??
Do you really 'mount' a Bike, from the right side ??
i dare not try a bike again, but if i tried from the 'right' I am sure I would land up in a Horizontal position very quickly ??  LOL!!

Some years ago I used to make a lot of biking tours, but last year when I tried it again, I discovered that afterwards my knee hurt like devil and I felt rather unsure on the bike. So when I arrived back at home I took my bike and put it in the darkest corner of the cellar. It was such a frustrating experience that I don't want to repeat it again.

Mac, thank you very much for your advice, but I think I won't make a second test - it's rather hilly where I live.

have you noticed in the past....and now....how many of
Coronation Street are....left handed.

Mike Baldwin..Ken Barlow...Maria...etc!..all the names escape me now !

When we used to dine there were...8 of us at the table    was like a mirror image as....4 of us were left handed   and 4 right handed....both parents...each left & right
handed....& the same for the children.

Is there anything wrong with left-handers? One of my daughters is also a left-hander and many of my pupils are, but there's no great difference between them and the right-handers. In Germany we say they are more creative than right-handers, but right-handers are better in mathematics etc.

Lucky you! I think I was originally a left-hander, but when I was a child, everybody had to use his "nice hand", i.e. my handwriting was so bad I always had to write an additional page for practice.
