This morning I also thought it would be somewhat cooler, but now that the sun is shining again it's nearly as hot as before.

"Peace on earth, goodwill to everyone"
The Quiet?? We have had to re-adjust to our's, since we had to let 'Misty' our Dog, go back to the kennels.
Yes. we do miss her and still expect to 'see' her around.
The 'quiet' is somewhat shattering!!

Phoenix, you will again get accustomed to it - just listen to the birds in your garden - it's still summer and they are still here.

Thus it's no longer too quiet - but the singing of birds is certainly more pleasant than the barking of a dog.

The Birds sure are coming back and have stocked up with Food for them!! Now we have to think about the Squirrel that shows up now and then, brings a mate sometimes??
have not seen our little Stoat for a while now -- perhaps it was because we did not let him in our patio door ??
All is Welcome to help us both to relax!!

Perhaps we are 'blessed' with our garden, as a haven for the birds etc: -- So much more interesting than the rubbish on TV -- But am enjoying some of The games, from China!! --- Unless there are birds around?? Well, we have to get our 'priorities' right. There is nothing as good as Olde mother nature and Wild life!!

Phoenix, you say you are watching the Olympic games in Beijing. Do you have any favourite sports?
As to nature and wild life, it's really very relaxing and when you come back from a walk you have a "clear" head again - must be the fresh air, too.

Not being a lover of sports, I have no favourite to watch and Drugs seem to play a small part -- which is Cheating!!
So is just something to watch, now and then.-- Guess I am just a nature lover and wish I could get out more to enjoy??
