Our Forces in Uniform have been 'Verbally' Abused, by a certain 'clientel' in our town!! Our Forces have been Asked to go about in 'Civvies' would you believe
Why does Everything have to revolve around those type of persons, that 'Abuse' our Service People
Being Totally Confused on this issue, I always thought that The Law?? Defends Those Innocent People!!!
No Argument accepted here!! The Law Protects The Criminals. -- I'm sure I have that Correct

I don't think that the Services need to be told by 'Brown' that they must wear their Uniform and be Proud??
Those people in The Forces, have Earned that Right!!
The Fight?? Should be Against those that Abuse 'Human Rights' of Our own people!!

I must admit I found it a bit odd when I heard on the news about the verbal abuse some of the lads were getting - to some extent I can see that in some areas they might be some security dangers but generally speaking I'm sure they are all proud to be wearing the uniform - The idiots who abuse them need to stop and think about who is protecting their tiny insignificant world for them against terrorists etc - they should be relieved that people want to take the Queens shilling. I visit London around twice a year and as an ex soldier the one thing that really annoys me is when tourists start tormenting the sentries on duty - if they do it while I'm there I give them some verbals and point out to them that they could get arrested for their actions - that usually gives then a shock. But that's life nowadays.......

Our Town of peterborough, is sure getting in the news lately??I know when I went in, 37 years ago come Monday, We was all proud to do 'our bit' just as 'they' are today!!
There is a certain element of people, that have to upset/destroy, all the standards of many years??
I used to hate seeing the so called Tourists, as you say, Tormenting the Guards on Duty??-- As each decade goes by, more and more 'problems' arise because of 'trouble makers' that have absolutly no Respect for Othere's??

They have to keep quiet about being in the services too. My Sarah has just joined the RAF but everything else about her job is classified and she has also been told to keep quiet about being in the RAF, well I'm her mum and I'm proud of it so the least I can do is support her and the RAF.

Don't mention policemen, they all look like kids and no I can't tell the difference either between the police and traffic wardens uniform, we also have community police now that look like the real thing but don't have powers of arrest or something.
