I was being un fair Pauline, I was trying to point out that they dont go without today as we did in my younger days. then it was"no work no money". The state will see they dont starve.
 That should be (wasnt being unfair)

You are right about that William I remember when my dad had T.B.and was unable to work for months my mum tried to get help from Social Security (she worked part time). They came out to the house and suggested she sell some of her furniture to make ends meet , she chased them out of the house with a broom and told the what to do with their money.

I remember those times too Pauline,that was before it became a free for all.
What is it with this country and genuine people it seems to have it in for them.

Pauline, Our Parents, had to Work Very Hard, for what they had, there was little or no help available in those days. Unlike Today?? When help is so reaidly available for those that are not prepared to help themselves!!
