Phoenix, wouldn't a cane be of use to you? Just to give you an inner security?

Teri, Thanks!!  I do use a walking stick most of the time, but makes me feel like an 'old man' and useless?? Eve say's "Lob on Me"  but don't think She could hold me up if I fall?? -- Some people may well think I have had 'one' too many?Huh  ----- " No Fool Like An Old Fool" ??

Phoenix, you are as vain (?) as my mother, she always uses an umbrella instead of a walking stick. On the other side, what a pretty picture "an English gentleman with a walking stick and a straw hat on his head"!

Ah! William, To be sure it is!! but have not played for 2 years now. Never having had 'time' for any sports, I was only 'introduced' to Bowls and Snooker about 6 years ago. With my 'Balance' being a little unsteady on my legs, I don't think there is much more 'playing' to be enjoyed??
The last two weeks of snooker i have lost both times --
NIL to 4 away?? -- If I played Bowls?? I feel that I might fall, so it's worrying me somewhat?? ---  Don't think there is any, Crown Green Bowls played around here. Most Clubs are wanting new members, as they can only play with minimum teams. Ah! Well ! I was hoping  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

As to sports I'm rather an ignorant - Phoenix can't you play it sitting on a chair???
I go to gym with my mum and we always sit on a chair - sitting gym we call it in Germany.

Teri, I understand that many 'excercises' can be done, sitting on a chair, which is a great idea!! --
However, playing snooker using a chair would not be good.
Hopefully, my bad play, may dissapear?? If not, I will still play for as long as I can. I still Enjoy!!

Thank you so much for your suggestions. I am just going to content myself with Carpet Bowls and Snooker for as long as I can. Gets me out and I really Enjoy --- even when I lose Grin Grin -- It's still pleasurable!!
