To 'That' extent, quite so!! But!! As each and every decade goes by, The Percentage for criminal activity Increases!! If not in your country??  It most assuredly does Here!! Why do you think that hardened criminals are being 'Let Out Early'Huh -- The Jails are Full to The Brim!! -- Locally, and perhaps in other area's too??  We have 'criminals' ---- BREAKING INTO OUR JAILS!!  TRUE!!
Why ?? Simple!!  They are much better looked after!!

Phoenix, what a funny idea - break into jail because of being looked after better. What a societey!
Yesterday I watched a discussion on German TV - do the rich get always richer and the poor always poorer. Much of what they said was true, but they also said that at least in Germany really poor (starving) people don't exist, as everybody can apply for an income support which is - that's true - not really abundant, but sufficient to satisfy one's hunger.

It is nearly 40 years to the day I had one of my sons.
It was also the time Manchester United won the European cup ! and my husband was a United supporter,so I gave birth to our much awaited child, and he never showed up ! why ? because he had to watch the match lol lol
We joked for many years after that as to who or what was the most important event ! we agreed to differ.
Where have those years gone ?
In the blink of an eye we are old,but we have some smashing memories and thats something they cant tax and take away from us isnt it ?

Mac, don't see it as black, but it's true they invent every day new taxes - in Germany there's also a hot debate on taxes at the moment.

Dont be too sure Teri, they all pick up "hints" from one another as to how to get from the public sector.
Is money scarce in Germany Teri or are they just saying that,? I find if there was a disaster they would give the money to that, rightly or wrongly,I think they hide it Teri lol lol or worse forget what they spent it on lol

Mac, money is really scarce in Germany - they always tell you that consumer buy more than before, but if you go into the shops they seem to be rather empty - at least in our town. In my view a sign that people don't any longer spend money so easily.

The prices go up until you can't afford anything, then we start to clip our wallets and purses shut and go back to basics. When they notice the sales are down they call it "consumer resistance"!!! By the way. can somebody please tell me what a "fried slice" is??? Thanks

Yes John I can and its very very naughty lol

2 slices of bread with fresh cream and sugar
you put the bread in it and let it soak a while then fry it in butter

We used to have it as kids but we had it dipped in eggs then fried.

John, that's what the Germans do at the moment and in our paper they say that the attitude of consumers changed.
