You are probably right Mac but we stuck to our women through thick and thin, unlike today. I dont remember hearing or reading about men ill treating thier wives then.

Mac,
you are right, but somehow everybody expected from you to be an ideal wife, housewife, mother and possibly to go working every day.

Yes it was a lot one sided as I recall, even down to baby sitting,it was always down to the mother to find a sitter or she had to stay in !
same with work find a minder or stay home.!
My marriage was not so one sided I had a good hubby, but my mates werent so lucky.
Nonetheless it was still hard work and you soon learnt to juggle everything.
I was fortunate I could work weekends and my hubby learnt to "iron" and look after kids lol
( I think he liked it really ) Wink

Hello Guy's and Girls, As we all know, Marriage should be a 'partnership' and yes, it does not always work out that way --- If Only one could learn to give and take, as in a Team, maybe? Life would become more 'Tolerable' ??

Phoenix, that's true, but for me it seems to be a little bit too late. I got too frustrated and prefer staying on my own as a single.
