In this pc world the programme tonight made me proud to be british. Thousands of people in venues across the country enjoying good music. Bet there won't be too many arrests for anti social behavour.

How we used to love The last night of The Proms:
One of the few things left to us ?? Allowing us to feel proud!! ---- and now The PCs have to take even that away ??

In former years last night of the proms was on German TV, but this year I couldn't find any trace of it in the TV program - it's really a pity, because I always enjoyed it very much.

Hi Teri, it is a shame that The Last Night of The Proms: was not shown on your TV, I am aware that it is held, in high esteem, in your country. I have always watched that programme, but sadly missed the greater part, last time. I have been told that it is now 'altered' compared, to how it used to be. --- Possibly in case it 'offends'  othere's HuhHuhHuh? -- In saying that!! I do wish you well and I am pleased that you have joined our Forum.
                                       Thank You!!

Hi William, More so than we do. I must admit that it is now 'rare' that I listen to The Classics. But I do have some in my computer:

Why do we have to change things so as not to offend other nationalities, if they dont like it they can always go home.
