To tell you the truth I've always thought there was something iffy about the girls disappearance. This wouldn't surprise me but I hope I'm wrong and the young girl is alive and happy. As for the police...no its not you.

I like you Val have thought something was not quite right,no smoke without fire, I hope I am wrong, and like Mac hope I never hqve to tangle with the Portugese police, they seem an incompetent lotMakes you wonder if they cant find the quilty one, they are going to find a scapegoat.

Personally speaking, i'm now beggining to find this whole Mccanns media following very tiresome now . I turned on Sky news this morning to see what was happening in the world only to find that it had become the Gerry and Kate show...over and over again they showed the couple getting into the car ...why do they need to repeat these shots 4 or 5 times in every minute..
So it turned it off for a while. 40 minutes later I turned on Sky news again only to find they were still showing the same footage as before about the Mccann's.
Has all the other world news stopped. Is there nothing happening elsewhere.
I was hoping to get news of Lewis Hammilton's preparation for the italian grand prix today.. Instead I got the Mccann's drive to the airport. BBC news 24 is just the same. Enough is enough ...i'm now seaching the web for some more interesting news.

What a fiasco about the car, having found forensic evidence in it,they let the Mccanns drive it again after 2 days, it appears that quite a few people have also used it.
I know what you mean Skeggy.unfortunately its the kind of news that people want to listen to and the media will jump on the band waggon to gain a few brownie points.

I think this is one big mess up (and thats being polite)
by the portugese police.
Kate hired the car 3 days after Maddie disappeared, where had she put the body in the meantime ? it is only an apartment afterall.
Skeggy would you feel the same if it was your family ?
I know I wouldnt
What a crazy world we live
