Yes, computers really are, a God send. Not sure what I would do without one/two ?? Great for removing Stress, had more than a fair share just lately. With a computer, one can totally 'switch off' from it all. --  Even if 'it' comes back later ??

Cath, What would we do if we cannot 'remenise' Huh
Would our lives become --- dull?Huh -- perhaps I go back in time, too much, but cannot help thinking just how much better our standards of living was, with so few problems.

One of my best memories, was before there was Too many Roads, Houses and People. Life was so much more 'relaxing' and People had time for each other. Do you remember those days HuhHuh Plenty of work, Respect and Happiness.

Yes Respect has gone out of the window, too many are just out for theirself!..
Today is too fast, and so many getting into debt to keep up with the Jones's,and then they can't sleep well at night as they owe so much, then before they turn around it is christmas,so another loan is needed!...
At least the 'Pinch from Peter to pay Paul' wasn't too bad,at least we would be fairly straight the next pay day!..

Ah! Cath, Those day's that will Never come back, not that this younger generation would understand how Good they were, with Happiness and Respect for all people. I was shopping this morning and met an elderly lady with a three wheeled walker (like mine) and her little Dog in the front basket. We alway's stop and have a chat. Talked about today's change and just how Rude, the youngsters really are, some she said will not move to allow her access and when she 'askes' just receives Abuse ??  I found some will hold doors Open and some, just ignore us. Dam Kids Huh?

Bad upbringing Phoenix.
Such a shame too, they are all tarred with the same brush because of the naughty few.

One of my favorite memories is my first love, she was a year or two older than me, and I was only 15 at the time.

In January 1963 I left home to join the Army, the love of my life lived next door. I managed to get home in the April of 63 to attend my sisters wedding. My love had moved.

Through the internet though, about a week ago I managed to talk with this lovely lady once again, she has had a hell of a bad life compared with mine.

But we intend meeting up soon, she has such good memories of our childhood, we grew up together. She mentioned my dark black hair and my bright blue eyes, I sent her a picture!!!! No hair but there is still a twinkle in my eye for her. Wink

In the 70's I worked delivering meals with the 'meals on wheels' service.  I was visitng one regular, a man in his 80's, and after I prepared and passed him his food, he handed me a quality street.  It was, as he knew, my favourite (the purple one with the nut in).  As I bit into it he said, "I meant to give it to you last week but I couldn't find it; then I did, I had been sitting on it the whole time!"
I've never been much of fan of the chocolate since...
