Mac, you can write to your British representative in Brussels. Every country has representatives there. However, I'm of the opinion that they don't "move" fast enough, they are working much too slow. It's true there are some sectors where they do a good job (fihting against crimes), but on others (protection of environment) they are only discussing.

Teri, Although your list was interesting, I have taken a 'Diplomatic' Retreat, from Political Issues!!
I, as with othere's cannot continue to accept their lie's and betrayl to our people!! -- We cannot find a person or party, capable of 'lifting this country' out of The Pit!!

Mac, I suppose they are trying their best for the UK, but it's difficult - consider there are such a lot of people of different countries and mentalities together and to reconcile them must be hard. If I think of my family - we were only four persons, but most of them individualists and it was sometimes nearly impossible.
So don't be too severe with your UK representatives in Brussels.

From the D.Mail, York city council have fitted their refuse wagons with Stat Navs and maps of mainland Europe at a cost of £40,000. I bet the residents are delighted that their council tax is being spent wisely.
