A SHORT SHARP SHOCK FOR KNIVERS, STILL PUSSYFOOTING ABOUT. HOW THESE THUGS WILL ENJOY A DAY AT THE HOSP, VISITING THERE VICTIMS. PROBABLY NICK A FEW BSYRINGES AND DRUGS WHILE THEY ARE THERE. THE ONLY SHORT SHOCK THEY WANT IS AN ELECTRIC ONE.
I SOME TIMES WONDER HOW MUCH MORE STUPID WE CAN GET.

it's not so easy to find 'cost cuttings' we take so much for granted, that we forget the little things, as Mac said. --- if you are not using it?? switch it off!!  I do now and it all helps.

William I think i might be the only one to get 6 different meals from 1 chicken !
2 chicken dinners
2 chicken curries
at least 4 bowls of soup !
and the cost of the chicken already cooked to save on gas is £2.50...........not bad eh ? better than stopping eating and dying init lol
ps I have been known to get even more than that !! lol

Well done Mac, will take some beating.
One other thing on saving money,is,never leave your tv on stand by, apart from wear and tear on the works, it uses quite a lot of electric.

Don't you have "advisors for saving energy" in the UK. In Germany you can ask one to come and check where you can save energy. Some months ago they showed two families on TV who had asked one to come and they had shown there where the families could save energy. However, to be honest the families had to do without much comfort we are nowadays accustomed to.

Yes we have them Teri
and they then tell you the cost of the saving, which usually far outweighs the cost of the electric itself !lol

Read in the Telegraph this am, a planes engine stopped after it had landed, the passengers had to help push it of the runway. Must have been on a DIY holiday.

MEPs yesterday voted to increase the EU budget to
£99billion  for next year. The £876m increase is on top of the £10.4 billion Brits already fork out to keep the Brussels gravy train rolling. The hike is £7.65billion more than the blocs 27 governments agreed to and £7billion more than the EU ruling commissio9n says it needs.MEPs say they need the extra money for projects like turning the EU into a role model on how to combat climate change. The tories opposed the increase but were out-voted.
Tory Richard Ashworth says this makes the EU look like a banana republic.
I think it stinks!!!! shameless !!!!!!!

Local paper today.  121 hypodermic syringes found near childrens play area, by a man that normally cleans there. When will the powers to be ?? actually ban those type of drugs ?? After all, 'they' have banned 'Smoking' so it's not impossible ??  -- E.U. ?? Ha!!  Don't forget 'they' will be banning the low emmision Light Bulbs ??  Letter in the Mail. A Woman suffered from bad eye's and it seemed to be from all the low energy bulbs she had in Her Home. She changed back to the normal bulbs and progressively, her problems got better. Well!!  We had already done that a few weeks ago, when we realised that both of us were having sore/tired eye's !!  I kid you not!! our eye's are not so tired and it is Not just in the Mind. Worth a try to see if it can Help anyone else Huh
