I have started to get loads of advertising emails on my msn. Is there some way I can block these? I had 8 this morning!!!Also, if I junk them does this use up space, sorry I'm not very good at technical words!

Hi Betty
What I do is block them for so long then delete them.
If they are marked as spam click on mark as spam box,then they will go straight to your junk mail,which you can empty daily.

thanks mac. Now as a total idiot!!! how do I block them? trouble is I had a couple in my incredimail one from lloyds tsb and one from nationwide--allegedly, I don't have accounts with either of them so I just deleted them, was that right?This is a real learning curve

Never reply to an email from a bank..A legitamate bank will never contact you by email.
This practice is called Phishing and these email come from criminal gangs trying to get hold of your account details.
there are many anti spam cleaners free to download...just search for them on Google or try
www.comuteractive.co.uk
for 1 of there recommendations. Incredimail has its own spam filter but its not free unfortunately

thanks for the tip skeggy, I'll have a look at the web site. I would certainly never put my bank details on line you hear some awful stories of people losing money!

when you open your emails on hotmail,there will be other boxes above that say delete,mark as spam,if you click on mark as spam it will ask "do you also want to block this person."
hope it helps we have all been there..........well still am lol

My computer is happy I think Pheonix, it does suffer from some obscure conditions sometimes,but i cant find where to put the tablets.
