` custody`
«
on:

i was in our local shopping centre today.when i neared the
exit to the bus station, i saw a youth talking to a very
tall 6ft 7in secuity employee of Wilkinson`s. as i neared
the glass doors, i saw the youth spit, so i exit futher
away from it.the next time i saw them both was at the entrance of the public toilet.
next all hell broke loose, five security men came rushing round the corner, where i was waiting for my bus,
and seized the youth, then manhandled him to the ground.
they had his hands behind his back, and it took five of
them to carry him round the corner.
by this time the bus was boarding, and from upstairs i saw he was still struggling as the bus pulled out of sight.
i beleive he was a shop lifter, caught in the act.........

as a writer/observer i do see life in north kent !
most of the members must see things that they can
record, so as other members can view.
every day things, you will be surprised as to
what you can remember. write it, then post it !

Hi Smiler,
You are right in what you say about us all having seen things that. if we think about them, we could comment on in the posts. They do not have to be heavy things just lighthearted comments, but, if the subject matter was serious and heavy we should not refrain from airing them because, lets face it, it's like being in the snug in the local and having a chinwag over a pint. And let's face it we are all observers and have been for all our collective years so 'sock it to us'

i am off to our local `evacuee club` tomorrow week,
our welsh lady that started it with seven of us is
96 this year. i have to ask the committee if they
know if any evacuees present, know of North Curry,
in devon. they may have been billited there ?
there is two New Zealanders inquiring into a place
maybe somewhere near Cardiff. could be Whitchurch
he thinks.he says quote = a mining village.off the
main road, you had to use a footbridge over a river,
and vehicle access was via a ford.any Welsh people
recognise this description. put in post if you do
please. they are coming to visit later this year.
some of the club are londoners, sent to yorks/lancs.
