I'm sitting at my pc and every now and then I can hear a squeak
:'(My son says it is the mouse. Is he pulling my plonker??? or does it really need a clean.

Betty, If Your Mouse has a round ball(as mine)It needs a clean sometimes. Otherwise, could be Your Chair, if it is an adjustable one:
