i think justice might  be done here  for the family , There was no reason for the officer to push this man over , he had nothing to do with the protest ..

Depends on one's point of view. Should a person carryout a criminal act and of course be found Guilty, there should be One sentence only. i.e. Five years, with no Time Off for Good Behaviour.-- There should be 'stepped' time served, depending on the degree, on said offence. This could not possibly happen, as many criminals are beiing 'let out' Early, due to the prisons being Overfull ?? Quite obviously, there is a queue to get back Inside  as many cannot accept the outside to live.
