Thanks George. I've been in hospital, just got out yesterday.  My doctor took an oxygen level last Friday and again Monday, it'd dropped dramatically, so I'm now going to have a respiratory nurse assess me for oxygen at home. It could of course be the infection , I've had more tests and so far everything points to an infection that wouldn't shift full results take time but its looking that way.I missed all the hot weather lying in the hosp bed but thankfully the nurses found us fans and I've come home to the raised bed taken over. The toms shoots haven't been snipped off and everything is just rambling away but Frank isn't a gardener and I'm just grateful he's been able to keep things ticking over at home. I've lost a few plants but nothing that can't be replaced. Its so good to be home again although must admit it took the guilt away of doing nothing in hospital, 9 days is a long time away from the real world. Going to catch up with everything now. x

Nice to hear you are back home again - hospital isn't really a "dream place".
I hope you will get better soon.
An English rose for you! (Hope it works lol)

Val, Am happy that you are home again and can start to relax. Eve's brother has now been in Addenbrookes, for just over eight weeks now and has had several skin grafts, some which have not taken. Had his last 'OP' on monday, but will be a while before coming home. Two more friends are now out of the hospitals, it has been quite busy for us to keep visiting. But we have to show them we care.

Grin Grin well I did try, thought I was going to starve on the first day, it wasn't until I got up to the ward that they fed me or gave me a drink, all day without anything I hope there's not a next time but if there is I'll make sure I take a picnic with me. Wink

There's a lovelly old saying "There is no place like Home" so very true, although we do not alway's appreciate it, untill we are away. Was Frank not with you, to make sure you had food and drink ?? Hope you are feeling more relaxed now and that the Respitory Nurse, is taking good care of you. Eve has now got a Nebuliser and is amazed at the difference and using it twice a day. Grin Grin

Val, We are sad to know that your not as well as expected, Hope that Frank is taking good care of you. I don't believe that anyone we know is actually well, in good health. Eve has been very ill this week and the doctors cannot do anymore unless she goes into hospital, for more tests. Eve has said no, as it's all too much for her body. Thankfully, her daughter in law, comes down often, as there is nothing much that I can do. Oh, for some good news for you all.
