Do you buy a regular newspaper or do you get your news from the tv, radio or internet?

I get our regional paper every morning - a breakfast without the paper - unimaginable. However, I read also one or two papers on the net.

I havent bought a newspaper in years. Get my news from TV and internet. Even the local rag comes through the letterbox and out the rear door, into the bin!

We buy the daily mail, only when we go out. Eve likes the crossword and thats it. Just can't find any good news. Then again, what happens here, that could be of Interest. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

It is only recently that I have realised that I have broken with tradition; my father always bought a daily newspaper and evening newspaper.

When I grew up and left home, I bought a morning newspaper to read on the journey to work, seldom bought an evening paper but ALWAYS bought a Sunday newspaper.  Now, I rarely buy a newspaper.

I read the news on the internet and listen to the news on the radio and television.

Same with magazines.  I can't remember the last time I bought a magazine mainly because I got fed up with buying a relatively expensive, glossy mag only to find it full of adverts Angry

Perhaps it depends on our interests, in what we like to read about. Decades ago, when our lives were more stable an work was plentiful, problems were few and people was a lot happier. Buying a newspaper was, as we say today, 'The In Thing'- as the same as smoking etc:  Now, styles change, as do the feelings of people, after all, who just wants to look at adverts as mags: and papers rather overdo them.
But whatever is our pleasure, it is there to enjoy.

I suppose there are more choices now with the internet and 24/7 tv.

I personally, am not interested in the news, but Eve likes to watch it on TV. We always but the 'mail' on tuesday as the health article is interesting. There can be some good stories sometimes, also the express, is quite similar.
Tuesdays Mail, had a very good article about "Wholemeal Bread" and Gluten problems, the signs of which Eve has, as may other people.  The Express, had a very good article about Germany and the depression and a lesson for the possible future.
