Well I have to say thats the most activity in a thread I've seen on here since i joined a few weeks ago. If the site doesn't have much traffic is it worth emailing the listed members and saying come on the site and post you contribution matters to us all? Just a thought.

they were all gone when i arrived so dont know why they left initally, think if they were going to come back they would have done by now , they must look on the site now and then ,

A lot of sites seem to go this way   folk move on when they hear of another  site and dont come back , .. And there needs to be a lot of threads started , to get a site heaving with posters ..

nice to see you posting John Smiley

e-mails are sent out every three months to posters that havent posted for a while, sadly we get hardly any replies as some have as Tilly said moved on.

Amazed ?? I really am Disapointed, at the lack of members, not posting. Why bother even 'looking in' if you are not going to post Huh??  Perhaps, I should say Sorry, that I have no interesting Posts for you to read. As We Both really Do have Mobility Problems, the Only place we actually go out to is The Shops.  Boring ?? Yes it is, so how can I Post anything of interest. HuhHuhHuh

Phoenix,
Nothing boring about your posts at all, keep on posting what you want.
It is far better to see and hear that folk are still about that counts far more than any literary brilliance and don't forget you have a lifetime of experience to go at yet so get writing.

Now if you want boring, Roll Eyes

Thank You, for your "cup of good cheer" - It has helped, as I felt members would wonder, Why can't I add good and cheerful posts.  As for an Interesting story of Shopping ??
Well, there is just One. I bought a 'Wheeled Walker' for Eve, about three days ago, as sometimes, her legs give way. Will she use it >>> NO!! (ain't women 'ard work) only sometimes >>> Bless Them!! -- So now I use it (better) instead of my 'four wheeler' which is heavy to keep, putting in/out the car.(now in store). This one is far better than my own three wheeler, as it has 'twin wheels' all round and a seat = A Safer quality unit. To keep in the car overnight. What a boon!! Not a laugh, it's true. But makes me feel Good. Grin Grin

This has turned out to be an interesting thread.

It seems the members of this forum want to see more posting.  But why aren't you posting more and commenting more?  What sort of thing do you want to discuss/read about.  What posts do you enjoy and which ones would you prefer not to see?

I quietly left a few days ago because I didn't think I fitted in here and wasn't at all sure what to post about.  But I popped back for a visit and see that perhaps members on NDY do want to comment and post more so thought I would give it another go.

So help a newbie out here :

What is NDY all about and what do you, the long term members, want to see on NDY.  Are you happy to go along as it is with just a small group posting or would you like to see NDY get a little bigger with new members and new/more posters?

Why dont you start a new thread? You could call it, "What do you want from NDY," just a thought! Wink

Hello Maegan, It is hard to say, just what one wants from a forum - To read friendly postings and reply where possible. Subjects ??  The world is your oyster = Anything and everything ?? I am restricted to posting much of interest, as our mobility, limits us from any ventures. I endeavor to do my best, as you will note in the forum lists. I am so pleased that you find it intersting to post and certainly gives this forum, colour. Thank you.
