Herbertina, Am happy to know that Paul, is feeling better.
It is good to be a member of a forum, that helps to keep you going, that is how I personally feel. When your feeling low, you can relieve the tension. When your on a high, you can share that feeling too. It's all about our emotions and proves we are human.

I have been a bit under the weather recently and Paul has the miseries due to the shingles, plus very poor sleep, the joys of getting old.

I use to put on my CVs
;)My brains tells me to grow up, my heart tells me I am still 18  Wink My birth certificate is a secret and the mirror every morning loooks back at me and laughs as it says 92 Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Herbentina, We of course, sympathise greatly as shingles can be extremely painful. It's bound to cause you both, lack of sleep, which makes it so much worse for the following day. I could send you, some of the 'funny jokes' that I receive and pass on to otheres, should you wish. it seems to become harder to get a laugh and see the funny side of life, but come what may, we have to keep on trying.

Phoenix I love Jokes, I haved this dreadful sense of humour and laughing does help, I get a fit of the giggles and sometimes I laugh so much I am in tears with it, Paul said to our son one day when I got a fit of the giggles, "That's it you've done it now" I have a wild  family living all over the world Ireland, Canada and up in North we have jokes that do the rounds and at our village fete yesterday I bought two joke books, so everyone on NDY watchout there's a joker about Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

One of our best British 'Old Film Stars' has to the late Jean Simmons who sadly died in January. she was a stunning lady when ever she was photographed.

I mourn, the loss of all those Stars of yesteryear. The quality of acting was generally, Superb, unlike anything of today.

Herbentina, Glad you have a 'Wacky' sense of houmour as I have. I shall look for those jokes in NDY and can maybe send them around.
