Chris, the way you obviously chose is out of fashion and said to be a sign of weakness!

Trust me I am not weak and if I have had to make a decision I will stick by it, I certainly am not going to see a valued member leaving because of someone that cant settle into the way you people run the Forum.

I know the site has seen `better` days...but so has
other sites...as for `chat`...I like a `one to one`
chat ...as I find with two or three people....by the time I have typed a reply...the conversation has gone
on to another subject.

I have only been in the chat room, twice and long ago. I enjoy a one to one, as in messenger and skype, so much better.

Not a problem, eveidentially one person was using two if not three names in here under the same ISP, one got banned via the ISP and thus deleted the other one or two. Reason for the ban was very simple, not respecting other Members.

.

Of course, having the temerity to express a different point of view didn't help much either  Grin

no arguements boys, please, there is a difference of opinion that is both constructive and fun to be part of but then any difference of opnion that causes ill feeling and makes people uncomfortable should be avoided.

I have come across situations where someone has been in a friendly debate, they made a comment when someone in the corner leaned across to someone else and in a stage whisper said "I see so snd so is holding court again" and that wasn't the first time, it was hurtful and nasty and that is what I mean.

we join these forums or organisations for fun and friendship discusions on a friendly level but when they get deep and "meaningful" and personal then that oversteps the line.

whoops sorry but I do have experience of how destructive a conflict of opinions can be especially when they turn personal.  here endth the lecture Wink

There was no argument - just giving friendy advice, to keep the peace. - This can also happen, when one is responcible for a number of staff etc: -- Constructive critisism, is not always accepted for what it is, or perhaps, in the way it is given.
