This is a good one ?? for the last two days, my computer mouse(the pointer) just freezes, nothing else will move and I have to keep switching off the plug. When i start up again, all is OK?? This can happen 3/4 times each night, when I am on a long time. Have tried the connections, changed mouse batteries and mouse ?? Definately No Change = Runs a while, then freezes again.  Anbody have any Idea's It's driving me up the wall, to say the least. Guess I have to get a man in Huh??

Hi Phoenix

Does your mouse plug into a USB port. If so just unplug and plug back in until it unfreezes.

Can't see it having anything to do with the weather, so I won't let the wife get out the knitting needles for the obvious joke.

Beejay, Would you actually believe, it Was the weather Huh
OR -- It could have been your Wife and her knitting needles?? -- Whatever it was, is now alright. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
I had a straight two hours on my computer last night OK!!
Today ?? three straight hours, alright Huh --- Considering I was "tearing my hair out" at constantly switching on/off   on/off   on/off -- and it has put itself right Huh?
I really did try every possible thing. Today, I have been Waiting for it to freeze -------- Still Going Strong. Huh Huh

How are you doing with that mouse, Phoenix.

The reason I ask is because my wife is also starting to have problems with hers too.

She has a laptop with one of those mini mouse made by 'Trust' that she bought at Tesco. That's started freezing on her. It must be an epidemic.

Blowing like the weather On/Off. Total of four times on sunday, yet not much trouble last week. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes -----
My laptop seems to be alright, but am only on some about 2 hours, in the afternoon (when not watching a film). Am normally on my Desktop computer 4/5 hours at night. Does the laptop view freeze as well. Both seem to stick together now and cannot bring Task Manager on screen. The answer must be looking at me, yet I cannot see it. I know I should get it 'repaired'so will no doubt happen soon.

Hi Beejay, Main computer is now on top line !!  The problem was the 'Graphics card' which puts the picture etc: on to the screen. Other things were deleted, that was not required and comp: is now running faster. A job well done for ?45.  Shall be having him back, a little later to check over my laptop, he was that good.
