Hi Tilly, thank you, I will next year be trying my hand at cucumber and a host of other things, Potato's being one, I am going to try and grow them in buckets, so any advice would be gratefully accepted.

never grown tatoes in buckets before but have seen a good result from my nieghbours doing buckets

I dont have a vegetable patch so whatever I grow has to be either in the greenhouse or in tubs, I grew some potatoes in tubs this year they worked well, I had loads. I'm going to try growing some in bags in the greenhouse now, hopefully they will be ready for late December.

I guess that now is the time to 'plan' for next year Huh

Have not been able to keep it as good as the last one.
But, have enjoyed watching the squirrel/s running around and mainly burying and eating the nuts. Natural television.

Yes certainly had a good crop, sadly all gone now, but there is always next year to look forward too. A friend has a greenhouse that she wants to get rid of, so I might have that to potter about in before too long, and then watch the green fingers come to life....(I hope).
