Sorry then William we dont agree, just one question
how can they return to normal ? they were born that way.
I do understand what you mean by scientic age of fixing things, but some things just cant be fixed that way.
I remember my father-in-law being of the same mind as some of you and he said there were no gays in my day !!! I said `have you ever heard of Richard the lion heart`,he said yes and I told him he was gay,he wouldnt have it though even though its written.
It is written that Richard married a lady called Barengaria,he also had a lover a lute player, who he used to take to the crusades with him,he did that because he could not make love to his wife. She was our first virgin queen not Elizabeth the 1st.
But you are my friend and I leave it at that William.

They wont take offence MrQuiet, just the opposite, they are quite prou of the fact. It is not normal. I am sure, if the same amount of money was spent on researching it as is spent on cancer research, something would be discoveref eventually to ease the problem.

My opinion does of course differ from those above, but that is my choice to do so. Money should be spent on those with far severe illnesses.

Yes indeed Peter something to think about.
I dont have a problem, but a lot of men do.
I find it very strange how some people think it can be `fixed` how can they be so ignorant as to not know its not an illness or self inflicted.

I dont think men do have a problem with Gays, I think the Gays have the problem with normal men. As I grew up as a normal male with the normal things that men have, and those things reacted to the feel and the sight, and the wanting of that of a normal males needs in life, A Female! I have no problem.
I have even now no problem with a female showing her affections and wants to me, I can normally tell if the Lady concerned wants something more than a kiss or a cuddle. Even at my age I try my best
.
What I do have a problem with is this: Some chap dressed as a man/woman mincing about in a public area where I am trying to have a nice normal time with normal people and to have this person make passes at me or men in my company. I am sorry it gets a smack in the face and gets told to go elsewhere where it can get away with it !
There is nobody in the world that is going to force me to accept that behaviour in my company. I am not saying its their fault, but it certainly aint mine.
What has happened is that Gays have been liberated and a certain eliment of that group of people have taken it upon themselves to harrass normal human beings in a discusting manor, thus giving the homosexual population a bad name.
I have friends that are Gay, they are welcome in my home at any time, they dont impose their way of life on me or my family, they are God Parents to my Son. Even when we visit them they dont impose their way of life on us. They think the same about the situation as I do when we are all out together, I have even seen one of them throw one of the mincing type out of the Club because of its behaviour, why??? Because it makes them sick as well.

Why is it that men tend to feel more threatened by homosexuals than women

I know homosexuals of both gender and don't have a problem with them, my nextdoor neighbour but one is a lesbian and a kinder woman I've yet to meet she's always willing to lend a hand, she says that they know their own kind and wouldn't make a pass at someone out of the blue, she can sense whether some one is interested or not ...same as us really

Geez! Never come accross such narrow minded nonsense as some of the posts on here!
Hope to god none of you people who think gay people aren't "normal" don't have a member of the family who turns out to be such. Having to put up with that uneducated BS.
