A dull day here, coolish. As soon as you turn the heating down it comes cold again.

That reminds me I've got a prescription to pick up from the chemist later today. I musn't forget. I did plant some tatties a couple of years ago in tubs, they were delicious but no cheaper than the supermarket. I must do my toms though, they are the only tomatoes I like. home grown are so much sweeter.

The first day of Summer and the sun was shining, quite nicely this morning, Did the housework and sat down with a coffee and ciggy, thinking (dangerous) I could start on the lawns -- The hedges later on and the patio's for pressure washing, during the week, if it's nice. You have it, I just din't make a start --- The clouds came over and I thought if I start, it could be raining before I get far. So no good getting any tools out --- Dam !! Another day

Rain on and off all day, snow expected but not sure when, just when you think we are through it along comes another cold snap.

It started snowing here late on last night and looked like we were really gonna get some.
This morning the roads are clear and we have no more snow but it is foggy and cold.
Where is all this global warming then???

Oh crikey thats not so good. We've not had snow but it is bitter cold today, I even put the heating on. I hope your snow is gone tomorrow, we 've had enough this year. I'm waiting to wash my curtains etc, but only if I can line dry them, no point with the rain. I washed a couple of the dogs blankets but they got wetter outside, they're drapped over the radiators now. The blankets, not the dogs.

It is going on a bit this rotten weather, I bought a Minky
clothes airer which I use in the winter, it fits over the bannister just as though it was made for it, my washing dries overnight, but it really is nice when the washing can go outside to dry.
