It must be so difficult for you. Try to get out as much as you can, it makes a lot of difference.

When walking is a problem Peter  then its a limited has to what  can  be  done i have an excercise bike , but it isnt  easy ...But i  am careful what i  eat ..i never  eat  junk  full a salt n fat  Cool

Has anybody come across the ijoyride? http://www.ijoyride.co.uk it is a mechanical horse. My wife has one and she has lost a lot of weight and become very fit. She just sits on it and the horse goes fast or slow. Good for people who can't walk much. Sounds bizarre but it works. The cowboy hat is optional.

Hi Joe,  Have thought about an excercise bike to help my legs, to keep active, but don't know of anyone that has tried to benifit ?? -- Good News!  Hospital this morning and the Doctor is pleased with my condition. So don't have to go back, untill November. He made my day!!

Peter, I read your blog about walking in the hills. Very interesting. However, where I live you must really be an idiot to get lost. We have walking paths marked with different symbols, so when you can read a map you can see exactly where you are. Moreover we have so-called circular routes and you only have to follow a number. At the car parking there's a huge map with all details - No. of the path, distance in km, and approx. time it will take you.

Teri, Thanks for having a look. I did of course mean the more remote areas. Plenty of people go on the hills without getting lost, but each year we hear of those who do.

William, My wife calls her ijoyride Desert Orchid.
