People like Peter Davies and the Australian PM. are few and far between. We need many like them, without being 'shouted down'?? as in the past. One man can do little, they need support as from a team. Maybe hope for someone's future Huh?

I have just seen, in my local town what seems to be a member of the Bicycle Flying Squad. He was wearing a cycle helmet with Police written on it. Here a getaway car would probably be a 12 year old Vauxhall with a megaphone exhaust, driven by a spotty teenager playing rap music at full volume. Not exactly The Transporter but still more than a match for the Bicycle Flying Squad.

But That, is just how it was!! there was a lot of police, 'walking The beat' ready to 'Help and Protect' the ordinary people -- No Training Attached ?? ------
Today, more training is required, such as 43 pages about how to "Ride a Biycycle" -- So hard to believe. What is the benifit, of the 'Support Police' what are Their powers Huh

I think that was in the good old days
before drugs and guns and knives.

How right you are David
so much has changed and not for the better either.
In my nursing years we had a 28 bed ward,I had if I was lucky 2 auxillary`s,we all pulled together.
Now the new `degree`nurses spend 18 months at uni and just observe the wards, what can they learn from that?

"United we stand, Divided, we Fall" -- In other words, a Team should be capable of working together and supporting each other. Today, it would appear that most awork as Individuals Huh  It's The Training and Supervision that counts. Must be 'Hands On' for quality work.
