Hello Birthday Lad !

Update on `club`...took a friend that i have known since
school days...sat with him in my usual place at the back of the hall...where i normally meet `ursula`.
He did not like it there "too warm he said" so we moved
to the centre of the hall..i left a couple of seats empty
just in case..bought`raffle tickets`..entertainment began
two people talking about the `war`... with sound effects.
After meeting we had tea + bicuits...I noticed Ursula
siiting next to my usual seat..I went to spesk to her for a brief few minutes before the meeting...broke up...
"We will talk at tha next meeting"...she said...March 11.
so it was not to be. I had written a few words of German to
give her (the doner shall be name-less )`WIE GEHT ES IHNEN`
and ` OR ICH FREUE MICH : SIE WEDERZUSEHEN `........

DID NOT WIN ANYTHING IN THE RAFFLE----EITHER !

Strange...yesterday...i have to choose beween going
to `Bluewater` or `Maidstone`...on a free bus.
At the last minute i chose `Maidstone`...8 mile
away... all o.k. i walked around...as you do round
the `chequers` centre...bought a few items...then
later decided to catch the next bus home.
As i approached the bus stop... i saw a familier
face...."what are YOU doing here" i asked.
It was `Ursula` the German lady i left at the club
last week... we chatted ALL the way home !
What a stroke of luck I did not go to `Bluewater !
