My 2 rose bushes arrived today, they are smooth lady and smooth angel. I ordered them awhile ago. As its to go on a boundary fence I thought I'd get the thornless variety. Its been tipping it down today so just the right sort of day to get them in. I can't wait for next year to see them in bloom. Here's a pic of the roses.

Wonderful roses - a good choice, Val.
Although we has strong frost during the last nights, some of my roses are still in bloom.

According to the website they do, not much point having roses if they don't smell. I know they are a lovely flower but its the perfume that lifts the spirits too.

Great roses Val,if only all roses were thornless, because when you pruned them or weeded round them, those thorns would get you.I hope they are scented. because that is part of the joy in growing them.

Roses, Beautiful. We have tried before, but perhaps have not given them the time they deserve. I do believe that 'they' are cultivating the perfume, back into them HURRAY!! after taking it away for so long (what madness) Roll Eyes Roll Eyes  -- Persuade us to start again Huh??
