Come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses...

FOR THE GARDEN OF YOUR DAILY LIVING PLANT THREE ROWS OF PEAS:
  1. Peace of mind
  2. Peace of heart
  3. Peace of soul

  PLANT FOUR ROWS OF SQUASH:
  1. Squash gossip
  2. Squash indifference
  3. Squash grumbling
  4. Squash selfishness

  PLANT FOUR ROWS OF LETTUCE:
  1. Lettuce be faithful
  2. Lettuce be kind
  3. Lettuce be patient
  4. Lettuce really love one another

  NO GARDEN IS WITHOUT TURNIPS:
  1. Turnip for meetings
  2. Turnip for service
  3. Turnip to help one another

TO CONCLUDE OUR GARDEN WE MUST HAVE THYME:
  1. Thyme for each other
  2. Thyme for family
  3. Thyme for friends

WATER FREELY WITH PATIENCE AND CULTIVATE WITH LOVE. THERE IS MUCH FRUIT IN YOUR GARDEN BECAUSE YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW.

There is a plant called coleus canina (or scaredy cat plant) which you could put in the garden. It is said that cats hate the smell of it and will stay away.

Garlic granules are another method!...

The first lot of Peas i sowed  didnt come up ,  but im now picking and eating  lovely sweet peas that were grown in tubs, the slugs made a mess of the lettuce ,  spring onions are coming on nicely ,  a frog lives among the radishes and so these have florished , and the runner beans are tall and in flower .

Any Cruelty to Animals, is Against the law. Theirs is a natural life and born to it. It's the cruel people that should be dispenced with, those that Kill and Maim and preach against our country.

Tilly, So pleased that your garden is doing so well. Eve's son and wife (just down the road) have transformed their garden to vegetables, we was there today and everything looked so good. There again, as you live somewhere in our area, you seem to be sharing the same weather. Congratulations!!

Our Garden Today ?? After the heavy snowfall during the night, I had to clear some area's to put down some food for the birds and squirells. -- Job done and was pleased that I had done my best, to provide food and fresh water for all.
Within the hour, would you believe -- We had more heavy snow, which well covered all the food. I jus could not face going out there again, but was really pleased to see that some squirells was digging down and found the food. it made it all worth while. I also add that Eve was against my doing that, in case I fell. So to be sure i had to take my mobile phone, switched on of course. Safety First!!
