Don't forget This is the age of 'Throw away and not Repair?? ---  'Never mind The Quality, feel The width' Huh
Do we really want anything to last?? If we don't go shopping for new Goods??  Some companies will go to The wall !!  15,000 made redudant this Week. Many more to come -- before Christmas ?? hearts and homes will be broken:

I have to say that the one thing that I use every day and would be lost without is my mothers butter knife! It has been around since I was a child and still has its yellow bone handle and I would be lost without it.

Not really my favourite, but. A german shell case, 177m. from 1903, holds my walking sticks. Still have a few things from the 1950s. -- The real good days. The truthful days. The respectful days. Anything afte the 1970?? is not british made!! So!! nothing to think about there!!

Smiler and all Friends, Thank you for your kind thoughts. My Neuropothy (no nerves in my feet) will only get worse with time, so I am reduced to walking outside, only with my wheeled walker. Don't worry though, I am quite happy while I can still do some jobs. After all ?? Still have Copmputer to watch The world, in all it's mess Huh??

I've got a nice story Phoenix and I can't believe with this credit crunch this company could be so nice. I was looking for some material to make a new voile for the window I found this site http://www.premiervoile.com/  and asked them where I could buy their material and how much is it. They returned my email said it was ?70 a metre, I needed 3 metres so it was way over my head. I told them so and unless they had the winning lottery numbers I'd have to be content just looking at their site. They asked how much I needed and my address and which material did I like. They sent it to me for free, even paid the postage.I'm still in shock I just wish I could return the favour. How is that for a good deed. The material BTW is so gorgeous.

Hi Val. Just goes to show, there really are some 'nice' people out there!!  To receive the material for free and Free post and packaging, beyond all my expectations.
Bye the way!!   It could not have happened to a better and well deserved person!! -- When you have finished the work. You, will have such happy memories, to last you a very long time.   Bless You !!
