Hi Mac, I keep trying to listen to my little olde body and it's strange way of talking ??  Don't think I am quite on the same wavelength ?? --- Now my feet ??  seems Reflexolgy, could actually Help ??  has anyone had experiance of this ?????

I've had a session of reflexology, I wish I could go every week but it cost me £25. I just love my feet being pampered and although I never noticed any health benefits, I'm not sure you would with one session, it certainly made me feel very relaxed and calm, I loved it.

Hi Val, Reflexology???  Not been yet, but i will try to get it on NHS. which is now possible.. the average cost private seems to be £25/£30  each visit, but I will try it out. I have sent for some 'Magnetic' Insoles and a magnetic bracelet too. I must try everything possible ---- short of having a Lunber Puncture. Am halfway into my steroids and don't know what to expect at the end in two weeks time ????

Do you take glucosamine? that is so good for joints and pains.Give it a try Frank did and it sorted out his feet and knees, I thought at one time he was going to end up in a wheelchair he could hardly walk, even the hospital couldn't find the problem, he took those and has never looked back.

Hi Val, Have been taking Glucosamine and Chondroitin, for quite some while --- Results??  My Knees have stopped cracking!!  = Good Progress there!!  Have also taken Cod Liver Oil Capsules, for absolutely Decades. Perhaps that is why I don't get Pain???? Am now halfway into my Steroids, No obvious difference ?? -- Have also bought a Bracelet and Insoles, from Magnetic Therapy -- Arrived Today (very quick delivery) -- Am prepared to try almost anything to 'slow' this down ????  It is very similar to M.S. which my daughter has:

Thanks Val,  The really Strange thing is ??  I Have No Pain at all. I am so very lucky, considering that Eve, is in almost constant pain -- Daily. -- Have put 'pain site' into favs: to read later. (Eves weight is now Down to 6st 8lb.) More scans to come too. My weight 13st 2lb and Fit as a Fiddle -- I just have to laugh at myself ??

Phoenix doesn't the doctor give Eve a so-called "pain-killer"? In Germany we have specialists for treating pains - pain therapy it's called here.

Hi Teri, Eve is on pain killers and was on antibiotics X3 nothing worked. More tests and scans to come.  Do Miracles really Happen ??  I Wish!!

I dont want to say on here but my life was saved 6 weeks ago ! and it was the most strange thing that saved it !

Hello Mac, Good to hear that and most pleased for you.
My life was saved by Eve, just over 19 years ago and i composed a 'Poem' of 23 verses to Her -- still on my 'reel to reel'--- life is very strange and sometimes to accept, as we become more confused.  Miracles ?? yes!! they really do happen. For Me, it's all hospitals, 3 last month and 3 over this 4 weeks. No complaints mind you. I am absolutely taken back by the care and attention shown to me.
If only every person would receive the same care and attention everywhere and be given the drugs needed. To hell with the cost --- Help save lives!!

In the prime ministers speach yesterday he said all prescriptions for the terminally ill  and lifesaving drugs will be free next year,I know this will be too late for some but at least he is listening !

Yes it will have to be paid for somehow,but hell they will take it anyway so may as well be for everyone and not the certain few.

but have mixed views especially about Ireland ! northern Ireland that is .....is it really `ours` ? think about it,I do often especially when we were at war,and I cant for the life of me think why we are still calling Northern Ireland when  it is British.To me it is Ireland.........daft init ?

This is a very confusing subject!! more so because of during the last war, the 'Enemy Ships' were allowed to use southern Ireland, as it was Neutral ?? and we lost a lot of merchant shipping?? -- Is Britain being deliberately being Divided ?? If so, for what purpose and who benifits ??

I SEE PEOPLE IN THE VILLAGE HOBBLING ABOUT ON 2 STICKS OTHERS IN BUGGIES, UNABLE TO WALK. WOULD I SWAP THEM FOR MY EYESIGHT BACK, I DONT REALLY KNOW

I too am 'hobbling' around with a stick and cannot walk far. Mainly it is because my balance is all out, possibly with my neuropathy (no active nerves in feet) Must admit I can walk straighter, with my 3 wheeled walker, immence assistance. There are other problems, but as I am in No pain, I choose to ignor them. I wonder just what I would give up, to be able to walk naturally ?? maybe the other half of my left hand ?? --- I don't know either ???
 But!! I still consider myself Lucky!!

As we get older we have to look on the bright side of life
there are many not with us who would glad be here if they could.

I know it is hard somedays though !

Some of our friends in the dog walking community we've known for years by walking the dogs a lot of them we just knew by the dogs name,sadly some have had to give up their dogs,others the dogs have passed on and disability has affected some of the owners they've struggled to walk but we are beginning to see them again. They've got themselves a motorised chair and its so good to see them out and about enjoying life and taking up what they had to do without. Get yourself one of these Phoenix it will open up your life again even if its popping to the papershop and chatting to the locals.
