Title: Contributors needed for BBC
Post by: Rachel on August 01, 2008, 03:01:45 PM
I am working for BBC Current Affiars and below is some info about the programme we are making, if you can think of anyone that would be great. Thank you for your help it is much appreciated.

We are making a new series examining various aspects of the the NHS and in particular, are looking at the issue of waiting times for operations. We are looking to talk to people who are waiting for hip replacement operations on the NHS about the waits they are experiencing and what this means for them.
If you know of anyone waiting for a knee or hip replacement operation we would be keen to talk to them. At this stage any conversation would be in confidence, with no obligation to appear on camera.

Please feel free to conatct me via this forum or on my email. Thank you

Rachel

Hi Rachel, I would hope that You are also looking into situation, whereby, with 'CANCER' -- Some Patients Do Not Receive the DRUGS required, to ensure a 'reasonable' quality of Life, for however long that may be ??

We have a close Friend, Diagnosed with Terminal Cancer!! That has received No Treatment at all!!  only Morphine for PAIN????? But ?? Has been in the 'receipt' of many 'Foboffs' -- Contradictions and in some cases 'UNTRUTHS'  -- Quite obviously, all down to COST!!
  AS ALWAY'S ????????????????????????????????////
