Not Dead Yet - Forum

Well I'm glad I managed to find this forum - good selection of topics and seems like some good friendly folk - really glad I joined.  Just one thing I've noticed though is that there seems to be a reluctance to fill in the location part of the profile.  Obviously an exact location is not usually revealed but it would be nice to know roughly which area folk lived in, even if it was just the County.  Peoples age seems to be a closely guarded secret too, but I understand that to some extent - frankly I'm proud of my age (don't know how I managed to get this far though) but I'm glad I'm still here.  When I get to 100 I'll probably keep the rest of the years a secret so that I don't get inundated with requests for autographs. LOL

Hello Country Boy, You have raised a valid point!! We are warned about possible, Spyware and Scams on the Internet, which i must admit, puts one off placing personal Information?? -- I frequently run Spyware and Antivirus and also ccleaner which does a very good job!! For the record. I am male, in my 78th. year and reside in cambridgeshire. Daily Hobby?? = Silver Surfing!!

Teri, Quite True!!  As I have said before, I would not like to 'Intrude' on Chat!! -- You help William and it is good. I think three trying to chat can be  at 'cross purposes' and lead to confusion. It would not be fair to Both of you:

Give over phoenix ...its open house !!!
neither of them would bother if you went into chat.
Its not like its private is it ?

Maybe I will??  It is so hard to get a laugh these days. Although in saying that. Our Jokes Circle, has so many laughs, as Teri will tell you!! Some are pictures and Video's that I send around to any who would like them??

William, Thank You for your welcome. I felt that it was good for you and Teri to chat, being company for each other. I just don't like to intrude in othere's conversation. I do have othere's that I chat or e-mail at night -- Sometimes I play games or 'surf' the net. --- Wish that I had this, when I had 7 years on my own. I did not go out, but simply ploughed myself back into work. That was in London, the friendless city. At least with a computor, one has the world???

Phoenix, don't be so touchy, you are really welcome to join us, William and me we like to have company - sometimes Mac joins us and I hope she doesn't have the impression that she intrudes - on the contrary, sometimes we have much fun together!

Hi Teri,  No such luck ??  Two different lots of friends waiting for hospital operations now and we are trying to help where possible, with as much as we can?? But that is what friends are for!!

That is a real thought?? -- Friends, good, true and reliable for helping each other, whether by practical or mental support, by even just talking, can relieve a huge burden!! Not alway's 'thinking' about ourselves, we are there as and when required and it works both ways:

One can 'never' forget that conservative saying?? -Also??
