Thought I would give it my best 'shot' -- not sure if it will work??-- If not?? I shall have to retire!!

I dont know what is happening Phoenix,lots of people come in here and they dont post,why?
This makes me feel like I am taking over !I dont like that
for the past few weeks the only ones posting are Joe you William and me ! why why why ?
are we that boring ? that nobody answers

Hi Mac, I really wish one of us, knew The Answer!!
The is 'variety' so why should this 'site' be boring for othere's to join in ?? --It makes one feel Despondent!!

its probably like me, i post on several sites, where as i used to post just on this one,also i`e`mail a lot more now.
what i needs is either a quiz,or a good story line,or both,
                  WHAT DO YOU THINK ?

Hello Smiler, No wonder we miss you!  I prefer to stay on one site, as a member, I feel I should Contribute to the same.-- If 'we' fail you?? Give us a 'Story' Debate or Quiz, to help in giving -- Variety!!

Ok This is my observations .. perhaps they may explain why others are not posting , then again they may not.

1. Theres not enough new topics. over the last 5 days don't think i have seen 1 new topic put up..just replies to old posts. we need at least 1 or 2 new topics per day to encourage interest

2. the reply's to posts often as been aready mentioned stray of the origional story line.. also they are often in the form of conversations between two or three individuals, which will put new people off posting because no one wants to butt into a conversation. Sometimes I think a thread goes on too long keep them shorter when a topic goes a bit dry start another thread up..Variety is the spice of life lol.

I understand what your trying ta say Skeggy, but its difficult not to chat to each other when noone else is taking part in the forum...we are trying to keep the room going who else posts... whats wrong with these who have done a personal page posting ....whats all that about?

If I put on the front page 'Today's Forum topics'. You could suggest topics for the day and perhaps do a post on 1 or 2 of the topics yourself.
