I'm not very computer literate so could someone translate the terms used on this site.

Hi Betty,
SMF is the company who produced the forum we use in this site
UHP2 is the trade name for the personal pages we use in this site.
ICQ is a type of messenger service.
URL is a website address eg. notdeadyet.co.uk.
Not very useful information but I hope it satisfies your curiosity.
